I may also post a different free story here in February if I get the time- what do you all think about a running tale about two boys and two sisters who have to make an emergency landing with their mother/aunt on the female run Isle of Peternia (from my "Adjusting" story)? ff/mm, constant CFNM, spanking, teasing, etc. I've got a few sections of that written already, but it sort of meanders off at the end...

ReplyDeleteJuggling so many universes, have you ever considered adopting an MCU-like policy...i.e. alternating between sequels and one-offs/originals? Might be an interesting way to keep a balance. I dunno. Also obviously once you start a story that's meant to be a series you don't always want to go away to write something completely different...so might not be a thing you want to do.

Do you ever plan on selling these in ebooks down the road? To be frank, I don't trust Patreon, and I'm only interested in a couple stories here, I don't want to be paying monthly for a bunch of stuff I don't care about. I'd be willing to buy a story for a dollar, though.

DeleteIt's tough to say. I don't know about forever, but for at least this year, I'm going to respect the people who are supporting my Patreon and keep those stories exclusive. There are thousands of words of my other stuff on this blog, OD.com and smashwords for people to read however!
And I hear you about Patreon- I didn't support any other artists before I joined up myself either. But is paying $1 a month for 5 months to read 5 stories worse than paying $3.99 to read only one? I think it's a pretty good deal, and hell, people can cancel at any time, I don't mind. I want this to be a consensual thing.
I want people to support me because they want to see more of this type of art in the world, at what ever level they wish, even if they could be getting their stories for cheaper some other way. If you've ever read a really good erotic writer who has only 1 or 2 stories out there before they moved on to something else, maybe $1 every month from 100-1000 dedicated fans isn't a bad way to keep them around! (And FYI, the only thing I make my patrons pay for is the actual stories. All the other fun banter I throw in for free- ;)
